Stop NY Fracked Gas Pipeline (SNYFGP) and Community Advocates for a Sustainable Environment (CASE) had a wonderful night on June 12. The momentum to thwart using twentieth century technology for our twenty first century energy needs is now moving in high gear.

Here is the big news: 

The Bethlehem Town Council passed a strong resolution in opposition to the E37 Pipeline proposal on a 4-1 vote with Jim Foster in opposition to the resolution. It was written by Dan Coffey, a Bethlehem Town Council member.

Presumably, the NYS Public Service Commission will take notice and hopefully the Town of North Greenbush can join us in opposition.

Thursday, June 6, 6-8 pm  
East Greenbush Library, Meeting Room B

Saturday, June 8 from 2-4 pm
Canvassing by SNYFGP/CASE in (EG) along proposed pipeline route. Meet at  EG Town Hall on 225 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer/East Greenbush line. Your help is really needed to create public awareness of pipeline proposal.

Wednesday, June 12: 7:00-8:30 pm
Public Forum about the "E-37" or "Albany Loop" Pipeline
East Greenbush Library, Multi Purpose Room
